Kate Wilton was appointed managing director at Banana Tree – part of The Big Table Group – in January 2024, taking over from co-founder Anne Chow. Wilton has a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector. Prior to joining Banana Tree, she had been operations director at Stonegate Group’s Slug & Lettuce brand for more than eight years, and has held senior operations roles at Spirit Pub Company and Whitbread. Banana Tree was acquired by Big Table Group in September 2022, as part of a strategy to acquire high-quality, complementary brands with widespread consumer appeal.
