Martin has spent the past 20 years in leadership roles within the restaurant sector, becoming Managing Director at Gaucho in 2010, before going on to found M Restaurants in 2014. He later took the reins at Gaucho once more after merging his M Restaurant business with the steakhouse brand to create Rare Restaurants, in 2018. Following his departure from Rare in September 2024 he was appointed Chief Executive at The Evolv Collection (formerly Conran and D&D), in February 2025.
